Behavioral medicine research study.

The behavioral medicine research team at Eastern Michigan University is conducting two studies.

  1. One of the studies is investigating depression in spousal caregivers of bone marrow/stem cell transplant recipients.

  2. The second is examining mental-health help-seeking practices of bone marrow/stem cell transplant patients.

One of the main goals of our research is to help medical teams do a better job of attending to the psychosocial needs of patients and families. These studies will help us learn more about what those needs are.
