Living with Lymphoma
Perhaps it's like living on a river bank. We know that floods are a very real possibility in much the same way that we all know cancer exists. But when the waters rise and invade your home, when everything you counted on and took for granted is destroyed, when your family faces the possibility of being homeless, when all of your resources are rallied to save the foundation and rebuild, but the cracks remain and you cannot afford to move, and no one will write flood insurance for your address............then the early spring rain that melts the snow is forever a source of deep and growing fear, and there are times when even a single drop on a cloudless day is enough to pierce composure.
